Ingredients

  • 10 medium carrots
  • 2 tangerines
  • 1 thumb fresh turmeric root or to taste, ginger works too

Equipment

Instructions

  • Prep your produce by peeling your tangerines, washing or brushing your carrots and cutting them in half or even smaller pieces (the size will depend on the juicer you're using). No need to peel the turmeric.
  • Next, add your produce to your juicer. If you're using a juicer like the Nama J2 or J3, you can simply add your produce all at once, then close the lid. For other types of juicers, you may need to start the juicer first and then add your produce little by little.
  • It's time to juice! Turn your juicer on and watch it turn your produce into a delicious, nourishing juice.
  • Once it's ready, you can either strain your juice or drink it as is. If you're drinking it right away, I'd recommend pouring it over a few ice cubes to make it even more refreshing. Otherwise, you can store it in a (preferably glass) bottle in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Notes

  • If you love turmeric, feel free to double the amount and/or add some ginger to the mix as well.
  • This recipe yields 2 cups (about 480mL) of juice, which equals about 2 small or 1 large serving.
