Ingredients

  • 1 head butter lettuce
  • 1 head romaine lettuce or 4 heads of baby romaine lettuce
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 3 green apples like Granny Smith
  • 1 lemon

Instructions

  • Prep the ingredients by washing your lettuces and then patting them dry using a kitchen towel. Next, wash the cucumber, celery, and apples. Lastly, remove the lemon peel using a sharp knife.
  • Depending on what kind of juicer you're using, either leave the produce as is or cut it into smaller pieces.
  • Set up your juicer, add the produce to your hopper, turn the juicer on and watch it turn your fruits and vegetables into a delicious sweet green salad juice.
  • Strain the juice (or not, this step depends on your personal preference!), then either pour it into glasses over some ice cubes if you're planning on enjoying it right away or store it in glass bottles in the fridge for up to two additional days (be sure to shake it well before drinking it if you're drinking it later.)
