The Benefits of Juicing

Why make these easy juice recipes? Here are just a few of the many benefits of juicing:
- Juicing makes it super easy to incorporate a high volume of fruits and vegetables: this is my personal number one reason for juicing. I love how good I feel when I consume a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, but making big salads and trying to eat several servings of fruit each day can feel overwhelming. Juicing is the quickest and easiest way I’ve found to get many of the same benefits in a fraction of the time.
- Homemade juices are delicious & less processed than most store-bought juices: there’s a reason fruit juices are so popular, they’re absolutely delicious! A lot of store-bought juices are either made from fruit juice concentrate and/or they include additives and preservatives (not including freshly made juices at cold-pressed juice bars.)
- You can customize your juices to your liking: one of the greatest benefits of making your own juice is that you can adjust each juice to your liking. You can, for instance, add plenty of vegetables to fruit juices to make them a little less sweet while still tasting amazing.

Recommended Juicer & Other Equipment

A cold press juicer is ideal to make the highest quality juice at home. My personal favorite juicers are Nama juicers, especially these:
- Nama J2 Juicer: the overall best cold-pressed juicer on the market in my opinion (you can read my full review here.)
- Nama J3 Juicer: this is the more compact, travel-sized version of the J2. It’s perfect for small kitchens and single households.
- Nama C2 Juicer & Blender: this is the exact same as the J2 juicer but with an added high speed blender function.

- Juicing Accessories: I love serving my homemade juice in glass jars and/or bottles and drinking it with a reusable straw.
